This rear view camera is engineered as a direct replacement for the original Audi boot handle, ensuring a neat OEM-style fit with no visible modifications.
Installation overview:
Remove the original boot handle
Install the camera in the original handle position
Connect power using the existing boot handle power connection
Connect the camera video lead to the supplied extension cable
Connect the extension to a compatible video module, CarPlay interface, or aftermarket navigation system
The rear camera image will appear automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
⚠ Important:
This camera cannot be connected directly to the original Audi OEM head unit or display. A compatible video interface module or CarPlay integration system is required.
