This Ford Sync2 CarPlay MMi add on is a plug and play retrofit for your vehicle. It uses wiring harnesses that connect directly to factory Ford connectors and do not require any cutting, soldering or programming for installation. The installation is able to be reversed and maintain OEM functionality.
Typically you can activate the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface by pressing and holding the MENU button for a longer period of time (exact method of activation may vary based on vehicle configuration).
