Installation is simple and non-invasive—the camera directly replaces the factory boot handle, requiring no drilling or cutting, and preserves the original exterior look of your BMW.
This rearview camera fits directly into the standard BMW boot handle position and connects via the supplied RCA video cable to compatible systems.
It works with:
BMW CarPlay integration modules
Android / Apple CarPlay retrofit screens
Aftermarket multimedia and navigation systems such as Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, and other adapted video units
⚠ Important: The camera requires a compatible CarPlay interface, Android screen, or aftermarket video input. It does not connect directly to BMW OEM displays without a video interface.

Remove the original BMW boot handle
Install the camera in the same position
Connect power to the reverse light (red = positive, black = negative)

Some BMW models may experience voltage drop warnings on reverse lights. In such cases, the included camera relay must be used to ensure stable power delivery.
